About the role

The Receptionist is the first, and often only, point of contact for NSWIS. It is a role perfect for an individual who prides themselves on delivering outstanding customer service. This role delivers service across all functions and operations of NSWIS and cooperates fully with all athletes, staff and customers to ensure the functioning of services including medical services administration and appointments, reception, mail, courier, and enquiries.

This position will work alongside a full time Administrator, Performance Health to deliver key accountabilities.

 

This is a full-time position, attracting a starting annual salary range $77,427 plus superannuation.  The contract period for this role is up to 31 December 2028 in line with the Olympic cycle. 

This is an identified position requiring a Working with Children Check.

You will have a background in reception, customer service, or administration, ideally gained within a busy corporate, sport, or health environment. Confident in managing multiple priorities, you’ll bring strong computer and organisational skills, with experience using systems such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and booking or scheduling software. You’ll be comfortable managing confidential information with professionalism and care, and have a proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people. A current Working with Children Check and a valid driver’s licence are essential, while familiarity with high-performance sport or medical administration will be highly regarded.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in office administration and reception services.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Share Point, and booking software.
  • Have a current Working With Children Check, or be willing to obtain this prior to working with us.
